Ouverture et COVID 19

Dear all,

Following the Federal Council press conference on 14 April 2021 we are reopening our club based on the below guidelines from Swiss Squash and look forward to welcoming everyone back on the courts.

We are also very happy to reopen our cafe between 11:00 and 19:00 for consumption of food and drink on the club terrace as from 19 April.

RULES FOR AMATEUR SPORTS
Training alone (solo training) as well as games and exercises for two are allowed, as long as the distance of 1.5 m can be respected.

COVID-19 type games and practice with distance (1.5) are allowed in pairs.

Swiss Squash offers an adapted selection of ‘coronavirus compatible’ game forms on squashtraining.ch

If other forms are played, both players must ensure that the distance of 1.5 m is always maintained (Distance Squash).

People who live in the same “private household” can play squash without restrictions.

RULES FOR TRAINING
Amateur sports athletes: COVID-19 games and distance exercises (1.5) per pair are allowed. 
A maximum of 15 people can participate in a training session, including a maximum of 2 people in 1 court.

GSC comment – We will restart our group training beginner sessions as soon as we get the green light from the authorities, for the moment this activity remains closed.

RULES FOR SQUASH INSTRUCTORS
Amateur sports: Private courses for two, in which distance regulation of 1.5 m can be observed, are allowed

The details of the various provisions can be found in the concept of protection for the sport of Squash

It is mandatory to wear a mask inside. You can play on the court without a mask.
There are still no restrictions for young people up to the age of 20 (born in 2001) and under
There are still no restrictions for competitive athletes
The championship operation remains closed (except NLA)
Tournaments will remain closed (except for tournaments A)
